I got the idea from Meggy’s blog, and yesterday I tried it. Images from my Internet-Free Sunday:

Not pictured: Early morning haircut (though the result is in the third photo); a woman and young children discussing King John & Eleanor of Aquitaine in the bagel shop; the diner where Laura & I had fries and edamame; J & I running with Ellie in the park under streetlights; writing; quiet roads, busy subway. Learning to be happier with less.
Internet-Free Sunday was surprisingly easy – I suspect it’s because I was out of the house for so long. Next Sunday I won’t make many plans and see how well I do!

I started reading all three books last night. They all seem great!
Awesome! I hope you like them, especially the two I’d never heard of before!
This is such a lovely idea. Thinking about doing it makes me feel nervous though, perhaps that means I need too!
For me, being worried about work-related email was the hardest part. I just had to keep reminding myself that nobody expected me to hop to it right away, especially on a Sunday!
That is a great idea, and you got some lovely shots. I especially love the first one. I do crosswords, though not as much as I use to. Perhaps I should try this and make crosswords part of my day. It’s a great challenge I think.
Thanks Carla, and hello to you in Fort Mac! I go through phases with crosswords, but lately I’ve been doing them more often and it’s fun.
Both your haircut, and that picture of Ellie, are super cute. Plus, I spy your shoes that look like mine!
Thanks! Ellie says thanks too. I freakin’ love those shoes; I recently bought another pair to have as backup when these ones fall apart. Love!
Gorgeous photos! You make internet free Sunday seem like fun. Are you doing it again tomorrow?
Thanks! It was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, Sunday kind of jumped out at me from around a corner this week and I have to do some work that requires the internet, so I’m online today. But next week I will be better prepared!
